New Years Travel

It was January. It was cold. It was beautiful, inspiring and fun. It was our way of celebrating the beginning of New Year and new challenging 2017.

I am sorry for uploading these photos this late. I had lots of things to do and finish in January and February (and unfortunately it’s not done yet). Nevertheless, I am showing you in this post beautiful city of Budapest. If you followed my blog you could’ve seen that it’s not my first time there, but I can say it’s definitely not the last. Every time I go to this city I discover something new and really beautiful.

On weather channel they said that it was the coldest winter since 1930 and I can definitely confirm it. It was very cold, but we had fun and found our way of warming ourselves with some molded wine or warm Hungarian meal or coffee and tea. What was the best about this trip, we laughed a lot, wind was blowing like crazy but the sun was bright and made this city once again beautiful and unforgettable.

Szent István Bazilika

Beautiful square in front of the Basilica and an amazing panoramic view of the whole city. Inside of it, it was very peaceful with some Christmas trees, candles and a beautiful sunlight passing through cupola.

Buda Castle

It was too cold for a long walk so we’ve just visited for a short time this part of the castle and went somewhere inside because outside was around -20 degrees Celsius.
