Trying out my new analog camera

Long time I’ve been looking for new analog camera to try. So this is a new one, Canon AE-1 with 50mm 1.4 lens. This is a first film in this camera (it’s kodak ultramax 400). It took me about a week to make photos and try some different angles, views and light situations. Even tried double exposure for the first time in my life, and it came out awesome! All in all, these photos are interesting ones. They’re not perfect but as they are analog they are awesome to me.

  1. How did you do the double exposure? My dad gave me his AE-1 a week ago so I’m still on the first roll of film (also Kodak Ultramax as someone gave me a Pentax SF7 last year and the Kodak Ultramax is the only film still stocked by some supermarkets. I’ll have to order better film from somewhere else). It won’t let me press down the shutter button a second time on the same frame though, so how did you overcome that problem?

    1. Dear Szilvia, you will see, double or multiple exposure is pretty easy to make. I will send you a youtube link where you can see everything that you need to do for double exposure to work. Here you go and thank you for visiting my page 😉

  2. Those are some great pictures. I really like that double exposure and the pictures of the water.

    1. Thanks a lot! I love this camera and I’m pretty satisfied with results I’m getting.
