This is Budapest and it’s a capital city of Hungary. Gyönyörű on Hungarian means beautiful. And indeed it’s a beautiful city, with lots of magnificent urban spaces, nice architecture and great food. This short trip was two years ago. It was one of our first trips together so this one is the more special one. We were in Budapest for couple of days, staying in a nice apartment near the city center. We’ve booked our accommodation via airbnb.com and I can say it’s an awesome website which we used more than once and never regretted. First day in Budapest was really nice, weather was fine, little bit rainy but that wasn’t important to us in that moment, we were walking a lot, just having fun, looking around, enjoying our mini holiday. In the evening rain got a bit serious and we were all soaked as you can notice on photos. We went to apartment, change our clothes and had a nice sleep. In the morning the plan was to visit flea market and just to enjoy the rest of the city which we have done. We had to visit the most famous pastry shop Gerbeaud, near that sweet and perfect shop is Hard Rock Cafe. We went to see the interior of the famous Hungarian Parliament Building and had a lunch near the building. It does look awesome inside as it does on the outside.
